Archetype PDF files:

Archetype can automatically create pdf files of documents as you create them. For example, if you create a letter, a pdf file of the letter will also be created and stored ready for easy access. The pdf files are automatically logged in the Archetype document registers. This means that you can easily e-mail Archetype documents such as Instructions, Certificates, Minutes, Snagging lists, Door schedules, Drawing issue sheet, etc. in fact just about every Archetype document. Archetype's e-mail module will let you select any of the pdf files as an attachment. It also means that you have peace of mind knowing that all your documents can be stored, accessed and archived without needing the databases.

The Archetype browser enables you to find any PDF file without needing to know the file name or folder location.

With Archetype release 9 you do not require a PDF printer to produce PDF files of any Archetype document or reports.

Archetype can also produce pdf files of Autocad drawings without requiring Autocad. The production of pdf files is integrated into the Archetype drawing revision and issue processes so it is possible to retain a pdf file of every revision of every drawing automatically.
