The Archetype Task list is used to manage tasks.

  • Create and manage your tasks

  •     ° Set reminders for tasks
° Create and manage tasks for other members of staff
° Use as internal messaging system to enable tracking of completed tasks
        ° Delegate tasks
        ° Use for file/project notes
  • Linked to the Archetype scan module

  •     ° Check your incoming mail
° Circulate the mail to other staff members
  • Linked to Project Diary/Checklist to receive reminders about project tasks

  • Linked to Contacts Database

  •     ° Contact information relating to tasks is readily available
  • Linked to Project Register

  •     ° Check all Project related tasks
  • Automatically record time, date and who completed a task

  • Copy tasks to other staff or to members of the staff project team, circulate documents linked to the tasks.

  • Tasks will tend to be used instead of internal e-mails. When you want to remind someone to do something you can assign a task for them. The task can be delegated and/or copied to other members of staff. You can then keep a check on if the task has been completed and when.

The task list can be used to remind other staff, simply change the users initials by selecting from the staff list. The task will then appear in their task list when appropriate.
In this way it can be used, by say the receptionist, to leave messages for you when you are away from your desk.

When the task list button is selected the form below appears. This shows your task list with the calls colour coded. You can double click on any of the items to open the task list and attend to the message. You may simply tick the Completed check box to complete the task or you could change the date and amend the message to remind yourself of the task again at a later date.
Other buttons allow you to look at all the tasks relating to a selected project irrespective of who made the calls, or to list all the tasks that meet selected criteria e.g.. to a particular company, between selected dates about a particular subject or project.
