The Archetype Control Panel

The control panel is used to access all the Archetype modules. A project selector at the top enables you to select a project and then Archetype will know which project you are working with. When a module is selected, information for the selected project will be displayed and when new documents are created Archetype will automatically use project information where appropriate and access the contacts associated with the project. Documents will be automatically named according to naming conventions and will be filed in appropriate folders.

Every document is assigned a unique document reference and documents are locked, to prevent changes, after they have been issued.

Information panes display tasks, calendar and news items and alerts are generated when new items are added or when there are unread emails.

You will see buttons for Calendars, Emails, Contacts, Drawings, Fees, Job Costs, etc. This will give you an idea of the areas that Archetype covers. There are more than 50 modules all part of a single integrated system.
