Schedules
The resource schedule allows you to create a list of resources (e.g.. cars, rooms, equipment, staff) and then to schedule them. It will not allow double bookings and scheduled events can be copied daily, weekly, monthly and annually. For example, if you wish to book a room every Wednesday for 6 weeks, simply create the first booking and then use the weekly copy option to copy it to the following 5 weeks.
Anyone can check the schedule to see the availability of resources and who has booked them.
To create a new booking, simply click on the resource you want to book and a new booking form opens. It shows the selected resource, description and date. Double clicking on any of the time fields will open a clock form so that the time can be selected and double clicking on the date field opens a calendar to enable date selection. The purpose of the booking, who it is booked for and (if appropriate) a project number can be entered. If the booking clashes with an existing booking, you are warned and can select different times or date.
